In the latest episode of the F1 Feeder Series Podcast we invited Formula 2 driver Ralph Boschung and FIA Formula 3 driver Brad Benavides to talk about their season, future and everything that’s been going on in a rollercoaster of a season for both.
By Floris Visman
Ralph Boschung’s 2022 season certainly hasn’t gone to plan, but it started off well with three points finishes of which one was a podium at Imola. The Swiss Campos driver however sustained a neck injury which proved to be bad and kept him on the sidelines for six rounds. In the F1 Feeder Series Podcast the 25-year-old talks about that injury and how it has changed his future plans, hinting at an unexpected F2 return in 2023.
It’s hard to imagine for a 21 year old driver, but 2022 is Brad Benavides’s first ever full season in feeder series. The results might not directly show it – although he got his first points in the second half of the FIA F3 season – but the Carlin driver made a lot of progress. His post-season testing appearance with ART GP points at a second year in the series and perhaps a new team.
