EFO, FRegional at Hockenheim

The week of testing kicked off at Hockenheim, where Motopark, BVM and Northstar tested the Euroformula Open car on 10 and 11 November.

Feeder Series understands that Wiktor Dobrzański (#5) was one of six drivers testing with Motopark. The others’ identities remain unknown. Javier Herrera (#63) was one of two drivers fielded by BVM as Luca Viisoreanu (#68) joined Northstar for two days alongside another unidentified racer.

G4 Racing was also at Hockenheim to test the Formula Regional Europe car.

Kabir Anurag, Jan Koller and Alessandro Famularo are believed to have been at the track during those two days, though it is unclear for which team they tested.

Indy NXT at Barber

Preparations for the 2026 Indy NXT season continue as the grid moved from Indianapolis to the Barber Motorsports Park for a day of testing on 10 November.

The line-up for this test featured some significant changes in comparison to the last one. James Roe took Tommy Smith’s seat in car #8 for Chip Ganassi Racing; Salvador de Alba (#17) joined HMD Motorsports instead of Victor Martins, who got behind the wheel of car #75 for Juncos Hollinger; and Michael d’Orlando (#20) reunited with the Cape Motorsports with Ed Carpenter Racing squad.

Andretti Global’s Max Taylor (#28) was once again fastest, as he had been in the first of two sessions at Indianapolis, and was followed by teammate Josh Pierson (#29) in a repeat of the results achieved last time out. Enzo Fittipaldi (#67) of HMD Motorsports rounded out the top three.

F2, F3, FRegional, EFO, GB3 at Red Bull Ring

The Red Bull Ring was the stage of four intense days of testing organised by Kateyama, with five different types of machinery taking over the Styrian circuit from 11 to 14 November.

On the F2 front, Campos Racing fielded their confirmed 2026 line-up consisting of Nikola Tsolov (#12) and Noel Leon (#44), to test the previous-generation F2 car. MM International Motorsport hit the track once again after turning a few heads for the debut of Colton Herta in Monza for his first laps in an F2 car. This time, the team fielded 15-year-old Niccolò Maccagnani (#19), who is understood to have signed with Prema for his 2026 season in Italian F4, and Roman Bilinski (#14), whose move to F2 has been rumored for months now. A third driver joined the in car #32, though their identity is unknown.

As far as F3 machinery is concerned, Rodin Motorsport tested with their confirmed 2026 line-up, with Pedro Clerot (#25) driving on both day one and day two and teammates Christian Ho and Brando Badoer taking turns in car #912. Hitech also fielded Michael Shin (#1), who was announced to be joining the team for next year’s F3 season. A second unknown driver joined him in car #2, though it was neither of Shin’s 2026 teammates, Jin Nakamura and Fionn McLaughlin, who were both in Macau.

Campos Racing ran cars #937 and #950, with Red Bull junior Ernesto Rivera preparing for his F3 debut next year in one and Alex Powell, who is understood to have signed with Campos for the 2026 Eurocup-3 campaign, in the other. Last of the F3 teams was Porteiro, fielding cars #93 and #94 with Fin Green and Yevan David behind the wheel.

Double R had three Euroformula Open cars and G Motorsport one.

GB3 machinery was the most widely fielded throughout the four days, with teams such as Rodin Motorsport, Hillspeed, Hitech, Elite Motorsport, VRD Racing, Chris Dittmann Racing and Xcel Motorsport taking part in the testing sessions. The identity of most drivers remained unclear.

Hitech partnered with their 2025 GB3 racer Deagen Fairclough (#9) as well as Fu Yuhao (#10) and Noah Lisle (#11). VRD fielded Rodrigo Gonzalez and Patricio Gonzalez, while CDR offered a comeback opportunity to 2023 GB3 third-place finisher Joseph Loake (#1) in addition to testing Fin Green (#2).

G4 Racing was also at Spielberg to test FRegional machinery, with 2025 driver Arthur Dorison in car #35.

Maxim Rehm was also reportedly at the track, though it is unclear with whom he appeared.

Other testing activities

While those bigger groups were setting fastest laps after fastest laps in Germany, the US and Austria, more feeder series testing was happening across Europe and beyond.

Reigning Formula Nordic champion Melvin Kalousdian crossed the Atlantic and joined Kiwi Motorsport to test the first-generation Ligier F4 car at Buttonwillow Raceway Park in California on Wednesday.

GB3 and GB4 held test sessions at Snetterton on 11 and 12 November. While JHR tested Aurelia Nobels, who is set to graduate from F1 Academy this week, Fortec tested Thomas Ingram Hill, Fox Solenn Amrouche, Scorpio Cian Geraghty and Hillspeed Hugh Hobson. F4 cars also appeared as Jorden Dolischka partnered with Argenti and Mate Kobakhidze with Xcel.

Elsewhere on English soil, León Hedfors and Alisha Palmowski got behind the wheel of F4 machinery at Donington Park on 11–12 November.

Prema Racing was in Imola on 11 November to test the FRegional Europe car with the help of 2024 championship runner-up James Wharton (#28) and likely 2026 racer Salim Hanna (#88).

As the brand-new Tatuus T326 FRegional car was being tested at Cremona on 11 and 12 November, some F4 teams seized the occasion to bag some laps in their own machinery. AKM Motorsport, AS Motorsport, Cram Motorsport, Maffi Racing, Scuderia Buell, Renda Motorsport, Real Racing, SG Motors, PHM Racing and Trident were present, but only a handful of drivers were identified properly.

Phil Colin Strenge reunited with AS after competing with the team in this year’s Italian F4 season, while Cram fielded Samuel Ifrid (#16) and Max Kammerlander. Scuderia Buell tested with Augusto Paschetta, Renda with Noah Massa (#77), SG with Matis Barbe and Louis Castellini, PHM with Yibei Sun, and Trident with recent Italian F4 debutant Florentin Hattemer.

Finally, from 10 to 13 November, the annual Supercorso Federale by ACI Sport was held at Vallelunga. Among five different young drivers, Vittorio Orsini (#5) impressed the most and won the contest after testing F4 machinery provided by Prema Racing around the circuit. The other four competitors were Cristian Tonalini (#1), Manuel Scognamiglio (#2), Filippo Donanzan (#3) and Riccardo Ferrari (#4).
