EFO, F4 at Misano

At Misano, four days of testing took place from 24 to 27 November, with the first two days reserved for F4 cars. Ludovico Busso (#29) was the fastest among the F4 competitors, with his effort of a 1:36.934 putting his US Racing car quickest on day one. The 16-year-old was 0.060 seconds faster than fellow Italian Niccolò Maccagnani (#19), who was only 0.010s clear of Prema Racing teammate Oleksandr Bondarev (#27) in third. The Ukrainian was confirmed on Thursday to be staying with Prema for the 2026 Italian F4 and E4 seasons, having finished 10th and 19th respectively in the two championships last season.

Day two for the field of 30 F4 participants was a washout, giving the drivers experience in wet conditions but resulting in much slower lap times. The Premas of Maccagnani and Bondarev topped the session, separated by just 0.024s. Maccagnani’s 1:51.472 was more than half a second clear of the closest non-Prema challenger in PHM Racing’s Iacopo Martinese (#460), who set a 1:52.049.

Prema’s four-car testing lineup was completed by Christian Costoya (#1) and Beco Bernoldi (#16), whilst US Racing brought five drivers: Busso, Ary Bansal (#46), Arjen Kräling (#62), Noah Killion (#13) and Oleksandr Savinkov (#17). Joining Martinese at PHM were Yibei Sun (#160) and Alexander Chartier (#270).

There were five other teams who completed the F4 field at Misano: AKM Motorsport, Jenzer Motorsport, Maffi Racing, R-ace GP and Trident Motorsport.

AKM lined up with Gregorio Prandi (#3), Lewis Francis (#43), Vittorio Orsini (#99) and Nawin Natiphanon (#921), while Jenzer brought Stepan Suslov (#21), Florentin Hattemer (#25), Benjamin Traverso (#26) and Georgiy Zasov (#56).

Maffi and R-ace GP both named three drivers for the Misano test. The Swiss outfit had Teo Borenstein (#12), Igor Polak (#22) and Cezary Bień (#210) and behind the wheel, whilst the French team had Tomika Gender (#33), Kenzo Craigie (#34) and Emily Cotty (#42), who have appeared with them in most other tests. Finally, Trident brought four drivers: Dominik Šimek (#5), Ginerva Panzeri (#6), Augustus Toniolo (#7) and Lyuboslav Ruykov (#8).

Days three and four at Misano were for Euroformula Open testing, with singular entrants in F3 and FRegional machinery. Giovanni Maschio (#74) in the sole G Motorsport entry dominated the field of 10 Euroformula Open entrants in a previous-generation Dallara 320, with his 1:27.873 on day one a staggering 0.867s faster than his nearest challenger, Enzo Yeh (#5) of Motopark in a current-generation Dallara 324.

Javier Herrera (#904) of BVM Racing was third quickest on both days in a Dallara 320, setting a time a tenth slower than Yeh’s on day one and just 0.004s off Yeh’s Motopark teammate Everett Stack (#4) on day two. Motopark completed their six-car lineup with Jan Koller (#1), Lorenzo Castillo (#2), Diego de la Torre (#3) and Wiktor Dobrzański (#6).

In addition to Herrera, BVM also fielded Filip Ugran on the first day and Simone Bianco on the second, with the pair sharing the #903 Dallara 320 car. Euroformula Open Gold Cup driver Paolo Brajnik also tested a Dallara 320. Ferrari Challenge Europe racer Gilles Renmans (#10) tested in a Corbetta Competizioni–run Dallara F305, and Andrea Dupé (#55) drove with AKM in FR machinery on both days too.

F2, F3, GP3, EFO, GB3, GB4, F4 at Silverstone

The GB3 Championship also tested at Silverstone from 24 to 25 November, alongside cars from F3, GP3, British F4 and GB4 as well as a 2018-spec F2 car. Despite the absence of live timing, Feeder Series was able to identify the majority of participants.

Seven GB3 teams took part in the test, with Feeder Series able to identify all but one of the participants. Niels Koolen featured for Chris Dittmann Racing, whilst Flynn Jackes and Thomas Strauven represented Elite Motorsport. James Higgins (#48) was in the sole Fortec Motorsport car.

Dante Vinci (#19) and Kyuho Lee once again tested with Hillspeed having previously done so together at Spa-Francorchamps at the beginning of the month. At Xcel Motorsport, Kabir Anurag featured alongside an unknown driver in the second car.

Both Rodin Motorsport and VRD Racing tested with three drivers. Martin Molnár (#12) and Maxim Rehm (#21) were back with Rodin as they had been at both Spa and Spielberg, whilst Ella Lloyd (#9) in the third car got her first taste of GB3 machinery fresh from the F1 Academy season finale in Las Vegas. VRD continued to test with 2025 drivers Patricio Gonzalez and Rodrigo Gonzalez, with F3 alumnus Nikita Bedrin in the third car.

Outside of GB3, Ricardo Escotto tested in a 2018-spec F2 chassis. American brothers Roman Felber and Cash Felber, who raced in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship this year, were spotted testing in Tatuus F4-T421 cars, as was Daniella Sutton at CDR, her 2026 British F4 team. Santino Panetta (#3) and TCR competitor Nacho Montenegro (#7) tested the Euroformula Open cars of Northstar, formerly Nielsen Racing. Ethan Jeff-Hall was also spotted at the track with Argenti.

Ten F3 drivers participated in the two-day test, with Enzo Deligny at Prema; Christian Ho, Pedro Clerot and Brando Badoer at Rodin; Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi and Gerrard Xie at DAMS; and Michael Shin (#1) and Jin Nakamura (#2) at Hitech. All of those drivers were in the Dallara F3 2019, while Tuukka Taponen (#26) and Mattia Colnaghi at MP Motorsport were in the Dallara GP3/16 used in the GP3 Series, F3’s predecessor championship.

In GB4, at least six drivers were spotted on track during the test. Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing continued their testing schedule with Luke Hilton (#32) and Caitlyn McDaniel (#35), while Dayton Coulthard was back in action with Douglas Motorsport alongside an unidentified second driver. Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso and Matan Achituv once again returned with Elite Motorsport alongside Fred Green, with Thomas Ingram Hill (#8) and Demitri Nolan also present with Fortec and Hillspeed respectively.

Fortec brought at least five cars, split across GB4 and British F4, to Silverstone. Feeder Series could only identify Ethan Carney in the team’s British F4 cars. British F4’s Virtuosi appeared with two cars, fielding their 2026 drivers Joseph Smith and Jarrett Clark. Mercedes junior Ethan Jeff-Hall was spotted testing with Argenti.

There was a third day of testing at Silverstone on Wednesday this week, mostly featuring different drivers from the first two days. F3, Euroformula Open and GB4 were represented among the 18 different cars.

Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi returned with DAMS in 2019-spec F3 machinery, this time with Nicola Lacorte alongside him. Kanato Le, Taito Kato and Maciej Gladysz all took to the track with ART.

Alessandro Giusti and Colnaghi were in GP3 cars with MP, whilst Yuanpu Cui (#12) and Reza Seewooruthun (#25) tested F3 cars with Rodin. Dayton Coulthard returned with Douglas Motorsport once again, alongside a second Douglas car, believed to have been driven by Harrison Mackie. KMR Sport’s 2025 GB4 drivers Alex O’Grady (#3) and Lily-May Watkins (#15) returned to the team for the test.

Double R fielded Bart Harrison (#2) in a Dallara 324. Indy NXT competitor Josh Pierson also tested in a Euroformula Open Northstar car, though Feeder Series could not confirm on which day Pierson drove. An unknown Elite Motorsport driver also tested one of the team’s GB3 cars on 26 November.

FRegional, GB3 at Barcelona

On 25 and 26 November, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosted two days of testing for select FR and GB3 entrants, running in separate sessions. The Prema duo of Kean Nakamura-Berta (#51) and Salim Hanna (#88) topped the two days respectively among the FR cars, with the latter setting the overall pace with a 1:35.058 on the second day, just 0.005s ahead of his teammate. The only other FR participant was Rashid Al Dhaheri (#23) in an R-ace GP car.

Four drivers took part in the GB3 tests, with Hitech’s Deagen Fairclough (#9) setting the fastest lap of the test with a 1:33.701 on the final day. His effort was 0.505s clear of day one pacesetter Kai Daryanani (#911), who in turn finished 0.347s ahead of the Briton on the first day.

Australian driver Noah Lisle (#11) was third quickest on both days, 0.878s and 0.688s off the pace on days one and two respectively. Alongside Fairclough and Lisle, Fu Yuhao (#10) completed a three-car Hitech lineup for the test.

Eurocup-3, F4 at Jarama

Elsewhere in Spain, Spanish F4 and Eurocup-3 had two days of testing at Jarama on 26 and 27 November. The Eurocup-3 entrants consisted of Gino Trappa (#10), Christopher El Feghali (#11) and Stylianos Kolovos (#21) with Drivex as well as Gianni Giovanelli (#73) with GRS Team.

The Spanish F4 field was much larger, with a field of 25 drivers present on both days. Campos Racing brought Vivek Kanthan (#2), Luna Fluxá (#5), Jacob Micallef (#19), Daniel Kelleher (#23) and Noah Monteiro (#81) to Jarama, with both MP and Tecnicar bringing four drivers each. Borys Łyżeń (#1), Rocco Coronel (#3), Kasper Schormans (#10) and Louis Cochet (#11) represented MP, whilst Fausto Arnaudo (#17), Rodrigo Martínez (#75), Zoe Florescu Potolea (#76) and Nacho Tuñón (#77) were in the Tecnicar cars.

Drivex brought six cars, with Nathan Tye (#90), Jensen Burnett (#92) and Simón Bulbarella (#93) representing the main team while Elliot Kaczynski (#94), new WSK Final Cup OKJ champion Bosco Arias (#95) and Max Radeck (#96) were with sister squad DXR. All three of G4 Racing, Monlau Motorsport and TC Racing tested with two drivers – Philippe Armand Karras (#12) and Jean-Paul Karras (#13) at G4, Miki Blascos (#25) and Rahim Alibhai (#27) at Monlau, and Santino Panetta (#39) and Beau Lowette (#78) at TC.

F4 at Vallelunga

The week ended with more F4 action, this time at Vallelunga, on 29 and 30 November, with many of the same drivers present as were in Misano.

AKM did not travel to Vallelunga, though Natiphanon made the journey and tested with Jenzer instead. He was joined by Levi Arn (#21) and Anton Morsing (#26), neither of whom tested at Misano, as well as the returning Hattemer.

Trident arrived with a four-car roster as at Misano, albeit with one newcomer. Ruykov, Simek and Toniolo were joined by Roman Kamyab (#6) in place of Ginerva Panzeri. R-ace GP also arrived with four drivers, with their Misano line-up of Cotty, Craigie and Gender augmented by the addition of Iacopo Martinese, who previously tested with PHM.

His replacement at PHM was Oscar Repetto (#46), who partnered earlier testers Sun and Chartier. US Racing returned with Bansal, Busso, Kräling and Savinkov but were without Killion, who had made the journey to Dubai for the opening Formula Trophy round. Prema’s Maccagnani and Bernoldi missed the test for the same reason, with Bondarev and Costoya making the trip to Vallelunga with the Italian team and being joined by Kingsley Zheng (#4).

Only Borenstein returned with Maffi, whilst Technorace fielded cars for Antonio Errigo (#89) and Alessandro Bolino (#99) after not featuring at Misano.

G Motorsport and Maschio returned in Euroformula Open machinery, while Formula X team Ruote Scoperte Motorsport entered Andrea Masci (#30) for a test in FR machinery.

Valentin Kluss tested at Cremona mid-week, as did Francesco Pio Coppola and Jiang Houzai in Technorace machinery.

There was also F4 action at Valencia on 25 and 26 November, with Cram Motorsport fielding cars #37, #38 and #39, two of which were occupied by Max Kammerlander and Samuel Ifrid. Three Van Amersfoort cars – #7, #8 and #9 – were also present, though Feeder Series could not confirm who was driving them.
