While there wasn’t as much racing action, the first week of the final month of the year was no less filled with testing sessions up and down the feeder series ladder, even in South America and Japan. We dug as deep as we could to present you with all the information about who tested where this week.

F2, F3, GB3, EC3, F4, GB4 at Barcelona
A large group of drivers took to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for three intense days of testing from 1 to 3 December, in which machinery from Formula 2 all the way to F4 hit the track.
Campos and Speed Center combined fielded three current and old F2-spec cars, though the identities of the drivers who tested them remained unknown.
F3 machinery was the most widely tested throughout the weekend, with some FIA F3 teams taking the chance to have their 2026 line-ups get acquainted with the car. That was the case for Campos, who fielded Ugo Ugochukwu; DAMS, who ran Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi (#181) and his widely rumored future teammate Nicola Lacorte (#17); Hitech, who fielded Michael Shin (#1) and Jin Nakamura (#2); and Prema, who entered Enzo Deligny and James Wharton, fresh off his F2 cameo in Qatar.
Hitech’s 2026 signing Fionn McLaughlin is also understood to have been at the circuit for testing, though with which team hasn’t been determined. The identity of the driver testing Porteiro’s #101 car also remains unclear.
Eurocup-3’s GRS Team put Gianni Giovanelli behind the wheel of car #73, while fellow Spanish team Palou Motorsport ran car #300 on 3 December only with an unknown driver.
Several GB3 teams decided to test their machinery in Barcelona. That includes Elite, who fielded Edu Robinson (#07) on all three days and divided car #03 between Flynn Jackes on the first two days and Fred Green on the last day; Hillspeed on 2 and 3 December, with Dante Vinci (#19) and Kyuho Lee (#26); Hitech, also only on the final two days, with all three of Noah Lisle, Yuhao Fu and Deagen Fairclough; and Rodin, also on 2 and 3 December, with Martin Molnár (#12), Maxim Rehm (#21), and Abbi Pulling (#901).
On the first two days of the test, Fred Green (#51) appeared in one of Elite’s GB4 cars, while Matan Achituv (#01) and Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso (#003) tested for them all three days.
Most of the F4 action took place on the first two days. AKM fielded Ginevra Panzeri (#3), 13-year-old Williams junior Dean Hoogendoorn (#14), Vittorio Orsini (#99) and Phil Colin Strenge (#120). Monlau also fielded four cars with unknown drivers on those days, while Van Amersfoort Racing tested Thomas Bearman (#7) and Aleksander Ruta (#8) as well as an unknown driver in car #09.
SG Motors were the only team to run F4 cars on all three days, doing so with Juste Mulder (#180) and Ferrari junior Filippo Sala (#16).
Incoming ART Grand Prix F3 driver Kanato Le and Chris Dittmann Racing British F4 signing Henry Mercier are also believed to have been in Barcelona for testing, but it wasn’t determined with what teams or cars.

Other testing activities
While those larger groups took to some of the most prestigious tracks in Europe, there were also smaller tests happening all over the world.
In Brazil, Franco Paolini was testing F4 machinery at Velocitta on 1 December. On the other side of the globe in Japan, Super Formula Lights held a session that same day at Motegi, with Delightworks fielding Keito Matsui (#2) and Itsuki Sato (#3) and Triple Tree entering Juju Noda, their Super Formula driver.
On 3 December, Sota Muto joined forces with Abbey Racing as FRegional Japan testing went down at Suzuka. Around that same time, Evan Giltaire got his first taste of Super Formula Lights machinery as he headed to Sugo for a test, believed to be with the B-Max Racing Team.
And on the British Isles, GB4 cars were in action at Donington Park on 4 December, with Fox fielding Kayleigh Cole (#48) and Liam McNeilly, Fortec Zac Drummond (#7) and Jasser Iskander, and KMR Sport Alex O’Grady (#3).

Editor’s note, 10 December 2025, 23:12 CET: A previous version of this article stated that MP Motorsport had run two F3 cars at Paul Ricard. The team was testing Euroformula Open machinery owned by Evans GP. The paragraph and the test’s accompanying data table have been adjusted.
