Reigning teams’ champions B-Max Racing brought five cars to the test. Honda juniors Rintaro Sato and Kotaro Shimbara turned their first laps in the car, along with reigning champion Yuto Nomura, all sharing cars #10 and #50. TOM’S brought their usual four cars to the test, as Toyota juniors Kiyoshi Umegaki (#35) and Tokiya Suzuki (#38) turned their first laps with the car along with former Super Formula champion Sho Tsuboi (#38) on Tuesday morning. The other two cars featured Oscar Wurz (#36) for both days, Kazuhisa Urabe (#37) on Tuesday and Akshay Bohra (#37) on Wednesday. Of the five drivers, Umegaki, Suzuki and Wurz are confirmed to be joining the team for next year’s Super Formula Lights season.
