Want to cover the F1 stars of the future and make your name in motorsport journalism? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We’re seeking people with interest in podcast hosting, editing and production who can take our existing video and audio coverage to greater heights in 2026 and beyond.

As a member of the broadcast team, you will work together with your hosting, producing and editing colleagues to create the best possible shows to share with the motorsport world. You’ll have an audience of thousands that includes fans and drivers alike, and you’ll enjoy creative freedom that you can deploy to demonstrate your talents to future employers.

Please note that all roles at Feeder Series are done on a volunteer basis. While this means we can’t pay you, we offer you access to a wide network in motorsport and valuable real-life experience in journalism at a respected news outlet. As a ‘feeder series’ of sorts ourselves, we also want to hone your skills so that you can excel in professional journalism and media roles in and outside of the motorsport industry.

Podcast host

Being the podcast host for volunteer-led Feeder Series means you get to talk with passionate experts within the team as well as drivers and personnel working their way up the junior series ranks. This is your chance to be the face of Feeder Series!

As a podcast host at Feeder Series, you will bring an energy, charisma and a naturally inquisitive nature to the show to drive conversations with guests. Preparing the show format, creating questions to ask, and collating any audience-generated questions all fall on the podcast host.

Keeping the episodes engaging for viewers and listeners is of the utmost importance. This requires self-regulation when speaking to avoid dominating the narrative while balancing the time spent with guests to dive deeper on shorter answers and respectfully cut through any verbosity.

Here’s what we’re seeking in an ideal candidate:

• You have (some) previous experience in journalism, motorsport or otherwise
• You can communicate clearly and precisely in English
• You enjoy watching motorsport, particularly single-seaters – note that you do not need to be an expert on every junior championship as that’s where our editors’ expertise shines
• You are organised and willing to do the appropriate research and episode preparation before recording
• You’re a team player who feels a sense of responsibility to keep our audience engaged
• You maintain a respectful, impartial tone in your hosting
• You’re at least 18 years old

The time commitment for this role is approximately three hours per week, with higher hours when recording long-form interviews.

Podcast editor

Leading the editing process for the podcast of the volunteer-led Feeder Series means you take the footage and conversations from podcast recordings and turn them into shows consumed by thousands.

The main responsibility of the podcast editor at Feeder Series is to ensure that recorded audio and video podcasts are high-quality releases for listeners and viewers. This entails cutting out mistakes, muting non-speaking participants’ audio where necessary, adding background music and overlaying video elements where relevant.

The podcast editor’s work is what makes the show look and sound the best it possibly can.

Here’s what we’re seeking in an ideal candidate:

• You have (some) previous experience in journalism, motorsport or otherwise
• You can communicate clearly and precisely in English
• You are familiar with video editing software and can demonstrate examples of videos you have edited
• You possess an eye and ear for detail to spot errors in recordings and can edit them out
• You can work collaboratively in a team, adding your creative vision and listening to the views of others
• Motorsport knowledge is highly advantageous, but not necessary if you have the right experience
• You’re at least 18 years old

The time commitment for this role is approximately four hours per week, with higher hours when recording long-form interviews.

Podcast producer

The podcast producer for volunteer-led Feeder Series takes the helm of our broadcast coverage, which features our internal experts and those in the junior single-seater ladder..

The main responsibility of being a podcast producer at Feeder Series is to control the organisation and production of both audio and video podcasts. This begins with the initial episode and show concepts and extends to communications with guests and hosts to ensure smooth recordings. The process ends with overseeing each episode’s release.

This is not in a public-facing role, but your work will affect how viewers and listeners perceive Feeder Series’ broadcast output.

Here’s what we’re seeking in an ideal candidate:

• You have (some) previous experience in journalism, motorsport or otherwise
• You can communicate clearly and precisely in English
• You are comfortable with managing team members and providing detailed instructions for external guests
• You can write clear episode descriptions, ideally search-engine optimised, ahead of release
• You have organisation skills that inspire trust from those who work alongside you 
• Motorsport knowledge is highly advantageous, but not necessary if you have the right attitude to learn
• You’re at least 18 years old
