USF Juniors and the Spanish Winter Championship series stole the show this past week as March rapidly approaches, though there were still some large-scale junior series tests over the past week. Feeder Series tells you who tested where.

We hope you’ve enjoyed our weekly testing round-ups over the past four months. With testing now pivoting from unofficial to official as drivers gear up to begin their main 2026 campaigns, we are pausing our weekly reports. Testing updates will follow on an ad-hoc basis through the spring.

USF Pro Championships at Homestead

USF Juniors held its season-opening round from Monday to Wednesday at Homestead alongside the usual spring training sessions for USF Pro 2000 and USF2000, each of which had two days on track.

All but four of the 20 drivers confirmed for USF2000 were present. Exclusive Autosport were down three drivers as Kaylee Countryman was in China for F1 Academy’s pre-season test and Evan Cooley and Anthony Martella took part in the USF Pro 2000 test instead, while ENVE and Wesley Gundler were also absent. The only unannounced driver who participated in the test was Erik Holm (#8), who completed JHDD by ECR’s four car lineup.

In USF Pro 2000, nine of the 10 confirmed drivers were present, with the only absence being Exclusive’s Joey Brienza. In addition to Cooley, Martella and reigning USF2000 champion Jack Jeffers at Exclusive, JHDD by ECR’s two-car lineup was completed by Andrés Cárdenas (#6), while TJ Speed fielded two cars for Thomas Schrage (#26) and Christian Cameron (#27). Comet/NCMP were also present at the test, with a lone car driven by Logan Adams (#21).

USF2000 took to the track on Monday and Tuesday, whereas USF Pro 2000 was only present on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In the first three sessions of the test, Naim Saleh, Ryan Giannetta and Sebastián Garzón all topped the timing sheets, but it was DEForce’s Garzón who set the overall best time of the day in the final session. The Colombian’s 1:19.0521 put him 0.2304s ahead of VRD’s Colin Aitken and 0.3616s ahead of Exclusive’s Gabriel Cahan, who narrowly set the third-best time of the day, 0.0013s ahead of Ryan Giannetta.

Garzón went even faster on Tuesday, leading both sessions in which he took part. His 1:18.3373 in the fourth session proved to be the fastest time of the day, with Liam Loiacono and João Vergara setting the second- and third-best times. Only five cars set a lap in the final session of the day, with Wian Boshoff’s 1:19.3806 the best effort, 0.3448s ahead of Thomas Nordqvist.

Also on Tuesday, USF Pro cars began turning laps in the test. As was the case on the previous day’s tests, no driver led more than one session, as Andrés Cárdenas, Sebastian Manson, Frankie Mossman and Christian Cameron were the pacesetters through the first four sessions. TJ Speed Motorsport’s Cameron set a 1:20.8493, which was the fastest time of the day, 0.0155s ahead of Cárdenas’ fastest time in the first session.

Cárdenas, Mossman and Cameron set the pace in the final three sessions on Wednesday, but Mossman’s 1:20.8990 from the sixth session proved to be the fastest time of the day. Pabst Racing’s G3 Argyros closely trailed him by 0.0265s, while Cárdenas’ best time in the fifth session was good enough to be the third-best time of the day.

F2 at Barcelona

One week after F3’s pre-season test, F2 also held its annual pre-season test at Barcelona from Tuesday to Thursday. All 22 confirmed drivers took part.

It took just over an hour for cars to take to the track on Tuesday morning. When they did, three different drivers exchanged fastest times in the morning, with Rodin Motorsport’s Martinius Stenshorne ultimately going fastest on a 1:25.437 ahead of teammate Alex Dunne. As the day went on, times began to improve, and Noel León ended the day on top with a 1:24.370, a whopping 0.688s ahead of Nicolás Varrone and a further 0.216s ahead of Joshua Dürksen.

Things changed for day two, as Invicta Racing’s Rafael Câmara went fastest in the morning with a 1:23.630 ahead of Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak and Dunne. Dunne’s times were later deleted as his car was underweight, promoting Trident’s John Bennett to third. Long stints were the priority for the afternoon, so  times didn’t improve from the morning. Invicta’s Dürksen came out on top ahead of teammate Câmara, while Dunne rounded out the top three.

For the final day of testing, each team focused on their qualifying trims, and Câmara set the fastest time for the second day in a row with a 1:23.252 ahead of the Campos duo of León and Nikola Tsolov. Those turned out to be the fastest times of the day, as in the afternoon, teams went back to their long run programmes. AIX Racing’s Cian Shields topped the timesheets in that session, leading León and teammate Emmo Fittipaldi.

Other testing

From the previous Sunday to Tuesday, there was a three-day test at Navarra for GB4 and F4 cars. Hillspeed fielded a GB4 car for Connor Willis (#5) and an unnamed driver. Pace Performance also brought an F4 car to the test, but its driver remains unidentified.

That Tuesday, there were also three one-day testing sessions, two in the British Isles and one in Italy. At Brands Hatch, Fortec brought one of its GB4 cars for Jordyn Martin (#88) as well as two F4 cars for Kit Belofsky and an unnamed second driver.

Meanwhile at Donington Park, only GB4 machinery took to the track. KMR had two cars, driven by Lily-May Watkins (#15) and Holly Miall, while Idola’s only car was piloted by Jamie Leverton (#11). ADM fielded one car for Luke Hilton (#32), while Arden brought two for Solenn Amrouche (#95) and an unidentified driver.

Only F4 cars turned laps at Cremona. Petri Corse fielded one car for Davide Larini as they held a shakedown ahead of the announcement of their Italian F4 programme, while Technorace brought two cars for Antonio Errigo and Francesco Pio Coppola.

From Tuesday to Thursday, there was a three-day test at Jerez in which two teams fielded F4 machinery and two other teams brought GB4 cars. It is believed that Cameron Nelson and Lewis Wherrell drove two of JHR’s three F4 cars. Double R Racing also fielded three cars for unnamed drivers. Meanwhile, Elite’s three GB4 cars were driven by Emmilio Valentino del Grosso (#2), Matan Achituv (#12) and Fred Green (#51). Charlie Smith (#5) was also believed to be testing GB4 machinery, but it remains unclear for which team.

Back in Italy, there was a two-day test at Vallelunga from Wednesday to Thursday in which Janík Motorsport fielded two cars for Tobiáš Paško (#24) and David Gorčica (#68).

There was also aAt the very end of the weekend a two-day test on Sunday and Monday was held for Indy NXT machinery at the Miami International Autodrome, in which all 24 announced drivers took part.
