Established in 2018 by Richard Mille, founder of the eponymous watchmaking company, the programme has kickstarted the careers of multiple notable names currently competing in junior single-seaters.

Some such drivers include 2025 Euroformula Open champion Tymek Kucharczyk, who won in 2021, and 2025 Eurocup-3 champion Mattia Colnaghi, who won in 2023. The former has since gone on to finish third in Indy NXT this year, while the latter competed in F3 as part of the Red Bull Junior Team.

The shootout initially rewarded the victor with a fully funded seat in French F4. Since 2021, the prize has been a paid-for seat in Spanish F4. The winner will also be signed to All Road Management for two years.

Last year’s winner Kasper Schormans is currently leading the Spanish F4 drivers’ standings on 182 points, seven ahead of Eurocup-4 winter series champion Noah Monteiro.

The format and schedule

Following a selection process over the summer, the six selected finalists underwent fitness, mental and physical assessments at the Formula Medicine Facility in Viareggio, Italy, on 21 September. On Monday, the drivers will have a full day of off-track preparation ahead of the on-track activities on Tuesday.

First, they will have two 30-minute practice sessions in the morning. The afternoon will then feature a 15-minute qualifying simulation and a 25-minute race simulation.

After the simulation concludes, a panel composed of two Richard Mille representatives, three All Road Management representatives, an MP Motorsport representative and an athlete from either Richard Mille or All Road Management will deliberate and decide the winner. The announcement will be made in the evening.

The drivers

In alphabetical order, the first finalist is Henry Domain from the United Kingdom. The 15-year-old, a member of MP Motorsport’s karting team, finished second in this year’s WSK Euro Series in the OK category and sixth in the OK standings of both the FIA Karting European Championship and the Champions of the Future Euro Series. He competed in the OK-Junior class in 2025, finishing second in the WSK Euro Series, fourth in COTF and sixth in the European Championship. Domain, who has been mentored by Formula E champion Oliver Rowland for the last six years, also tested F4 machinery with MP back in September along with three other finalists.

Fellow MP karter Roxanne Lantinga is one of two female drivers in this year’s shootout. The 16-year-old Dutchwoman finished runner-up in this year’s IAME Benelux Series in the X30 Senior category and is set to compete in Indian F4 with Ahmedabad Apex Racers, though she did not appear in the first two rounds. Last year, Lantinga won the IAME Eurocup Ladies Cup and finished eighth in X30 Senior in the IAME Euro Series.

Benjamin Mañach finished runner-up in the Champions of the Future Euro Series’ OK category this year. The 15-year-old Spaniard also finished sixth and third in the FIA Karting European Championship and WSK Super Master Series’ OK standings respectively. Last year, he finished ninth in the OK-J standings of both the European Championship and the WSK Euro Series. Mañach also tested F4 machinery alongside Domain at Barcelona last month.

South African karter William Marshall, who turns 16 on Monday, has also competed in the OK category of FIA Karting, COTF Euro Series and WSK events. In 2025, he competed in the OK-N category of COTF’s Academy Program before participating in and finishing fifth in both the WSK Euro Series’ Cremona round in OK and the FIA Karting OK-N World Cup at the same venue. Marshall also tested MP machinery at Barcelona last month.

Norway’s Ina Karine Rostad, who turns 17 on Tuesday, competed in the OK-N category of COTF’s Academy Program earlier this year before racing in one round of the FIA Karting European Championship and the COTF Euro Series in OK, both at Kristianstad. She karts for the Birel ART team that Nicolas Todt, who co-founded All Road Management, helped launch. Rostad is the fourth finalist who tested at Barcelona with MP.

Finland’s Kimi Tani rounds out the 2026 finalists. The 17-year-old is this year’s FIA Karting European champion in the KZ2 category, and he also finished fourth in the FIA Karting KZ2 World Cup at Le Mans. Last year, Tani finished fifth in the KZ2 standings of the COTF Euro Series and 18th in KZ2 in the WSK Final Cup.
