Jake Hughes joins Bent Viscaal and Keyvan Andres at the FIA F3 Championship to complete HWA Racelab’s line-up for the 2019 season.

The experienced 24-year old Hughes was a busy man last year as he competed in GP3, the Asian F3 Championship and the Macau Grand Prix. The Brit won all the races he drove in Asian F3 but didn’t win the championship as het couldn’t compete in two rounds.

One win

In the last season of GP3 he was less successful winning just one race with ART Grand Prix and finishing sixth in the standings. In Macau he finished just outside the podium in fourth.

Arden

German racing team HWA Racelab joined F3 for it’s first season as it has a partnership with Arden.

The inaugural F3 season kicks of with race 1 on the 11th of may in Barcelona.
