
2019 was the first ever year of the all-female W Series. Alice Powell (26) stood on the podium every race she finished and came third in the championship, behind Beitske Visser and champion Jamie Chadwick. We had a short conversation with her.

The W Series isn’t her first drive in open wheel single-seaters. Alice Powell has a history in a whole heap of series, ranging from the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship to the British F3 International Series. She even had a stint in GP3 back in 2012 with Status Grand Prix, scoring a single point. But the British driver shone in this year’s W Series, so we asked her about it.
