Josh Mason & Frederick Lubin talk EFO and 2023 plans

They’re both British and they both won races in Euroformula Open and both drove for the same team – well, sort of: Frederick Lubin and Josh Mason join the F1 Feeder Series Podcast to talk about their season, their future and way more.

Just 15 points and one spot separated Frederick Lubin (4th) and Josh Mason (5th) in the 2022 Euroformula Open Championship. After eight podiums, CryptoTower racing’s Lubin finally took his first win in the series in the final race of the final race weekend. It was a great end to a very long season that started in January, when he took part in the Formula Regional Asian Championship with Evans GP. This might be the Brit’s last season in single-seaters though, as he eyes a move elsewhere.

His countryman Mason might’ve finished a spot below Lubin, he did get more wins: three in total. The 20-year-old Team Motopark driver is looking to move on from the championship next year, while he’s all but completed a move to a winter series.
