For the first time ever, GB4 will be holding a two-day winter series to supplement the main season of racing, which concluded last month. With each team being allowed four cars, one more than in the main season, the contest provides a stepping stone for drivers who haven’t yet committed to a full season and a proving ground for more experienced drivers. Feeder Series tells you all you need to know about the upcoming series.

Held at Snetterton Circuit, the series will feature two days of competitive action, each run as separate events. This means teams have the ability to change their line-up by the day while drivers can run the full series with two different teams.
The format
Each day of the series will consist of a 20-minute qualifying session and two 20-minute races. The drivers’ fastest times from qualifying will set the grid for the first race, and their second-fastest times will set the second race’s grid. Drivers can also take part in two days of testing prior to the weekend.
In the races, points will be awarded in the same way they are in GB4’s main races, with the winning driver receiving 35 points down to one point for 20th place. Because of the grid size anticipated for the round, all drivers who finish a race are expected to score at least two points. There are no reverse-grid races.
There will also be a rookie winner in each race who is awarded a trophy alongside the other podium finishers.
Where to watch
Live timing for all sessions will be available on TSL Timing and the GB4 Winter Series website. All four of the races will also be streamed live on the MSV TV YouTube Channel and the GB4 Winter Series website.
Teams and drivers
Eight teams will enter drivers in the Winter Series. The competitors include those with previous GB4 experience, those who have competed in single-seaters outside of GB4, and those who are taking their first steps into the world of single-seater racing through the series.
Hillspeed, Scorpio Motorsport and Arden Motorsport were all listed as teams competing in the series, but they have not announced any drivers.
Elite Motorsport
After securing the teams’ championship in the main 2026 season, Elite Motorsport will be looking to continue their success into the winter series with an all-new line-up of drivers. They were due to have a fourth driver in Henry Cameron, but the 16-year-old withdrew before the season began as a result of an injury sustained in testing.
John O’Donnell (#20) joins Elite for the first time in the winter series. The American-Korean 18-year-old joined GB4 in the final race of 2025 and completed a full season with Pace Performance in 2026, finishing 14th overall with one podium.
Harrison Mackie (#21) enters the series with the same team with which he contested the Ginetta Junior Championship. The 16-year-old, who lives a stone’s throw from Snetterton in Attleborough, finished as runner-up this year, taking four wins over the course of the season. He is also currently competing in the Saudi Arabian F4 Championship, sitting third in the standings with two podiums after two rounds.
Jesse Phillips (#26) has already made his debut in single-seaters, racing in the final round of British F4 this year with Rodin Motorsport. The Hampshire native, who turned 15 last month, spent most of the year testing F4 machinery and racing in Ginetta Junior, finishing fourth overall.

Fortec Motorsport
Fortec Motorsport are used to nurturing new talent, having been in the GB4 championship since its inaugural season back in 2022 and many other championships before then. They bring a two-car lineup into the series.
Indonesian driver Qarrar Firhand (#71) makes the switch to GB4 after taking part in one round of British F4 with Argenti and two with Fortec. Earlier this year, the 15-year-old also took the title in the WSK Euro Series in the OK class.
Max Yuill (#75) will make his car racing debut in the winter series. The 15-year-old from Northampton spent 2026 in the British Kart Championships’ IAME Senior X30 class, finishing the season sixth in the standings.

Pace Performance
In their second season in GB4, Pace Performance enjoyed far more success than in 2025, finishing fourth in the teams’ championship with four wins. They bring a three-car lineup to the winter series.
William Rohan (#5) made his GB4 debut in August at Silverstone, where he raced with Arden Motorsport. The 17-year-old American driver took a best finish of 16th over the weekend. He has also taken part in a number of tests in the championship and now makes the switch to Pace Performance for the Winter Series.
South African driver Gianna Pascoal (#17) makes her European racing debut in the series. The 16-year-old karted in her native South Africa and has competed in various national championships. She was chosen to be one of the six drivers globally supported by the More Than Equal Driver Development Programme, F1 Academy’s official driver performance partner.
Alexander De Benedittis (#46) also makes his first appearance in single-seaters this weekend. The British 15-year-old competed in the British Kart Championships’ IAME Senior X30 class this year and finished 15th in the standings despite missing the last two rounds.

Douglas Motorsport
Douglas Motorsport scored two wins and six additional podiums as a team in the main 2026 season. They currently have a two-car entry in the winter series.
George Proudford-Nalder (#8) spent 2026 in the British F4 Championship. The Australian driver finished fourth overall, with three wins, one of these being the BRDC International Trophy at Silverstone. He also took a podium in the Formula Winter Series and made appearances in both Italian F4 and E4 earlier in 2026.
Conor Grant (#54) sticks with the team after a positive first season in the GB4 championship. The 19-year-old Irish driver finished 13th overall, taking two podiums across the course of the season. He will look to use the winter series to build momentum, having also re-signed with the team for his second season in the championship in 2027.

KMR Sport
KMR Sport have experienced plenty of success in GB4, and 2026 was no different, as the team secured the drivers’ championship with Alex O’Grady. Now, the team brings a new three-car lineup to the winter series.
Toby Campbell (#27) makes his car racing debut in the winter series, though he has not had the average route to the championship. The 18-year-old Liverpudlian has had limited karting experience and has helped finance his single-seater testing programme through multiple jobs outside of motorsport.
Lewis Goff (#44) joins the team off the back of a dominant Ginetta Junior season in which he took 10 race wins on the way to the title, sitting 113 points ahead of the field. The winter series will mark the 15-year-old Yorkshireman’s single-seater debut.
French driver Solenn Amrouche (#95) is well experienced in GB4 machinery after contesting the 2026 season with Arden Motorsport. The 22-year-old finished 29th overall with a best race finish of 11th. She now makes the switch to KMR for the winter series.

Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing
After their first GB4 season in their current format, Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing will be looking to build upon what they learned over the main season.
Jamie Leverton (#4) has already built up experience with Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing, having joined the team halfway through the 2026 GB4 season from Idola Motorsport. The 17-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent finished 21st overall, with a best race finish of 12th.
Archie Pearce (#77) makes the step up to GB4 as the inaugural member of the Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing Junior Academy. The 17-year-old Briton has run a testing programme with the team while also continuing to kart in both the Club 100 Lightweight Sprint Northern championship and the FAT Karting League in the Junior Pro class.

Fox Motorsport
After three seasons in GB4, Fox Motorsport have acquired substantial experience in the championship. They bring a three-car lineup to the winter series.
Robert Crawford (#22) joins the team for his first taste of single-seater racing. The 18-year-old from Essex has competed in various club-level karting championships this year while also representing his mother’s home nation of Slovakia in the Rotax Racing Club International Finals.
Jasser Iskander (#33) returns to the team after his debut season in GB4. The 15-year-old Saudi Arabian driver finished 26th overall with a best race finish of seventh.
Archie Bullard (#48) also returns after his first season in car racing with the team. The 19-year-old from Surrey finished 25th overall in the main series standings and secured a best race finish of 10th.

R Racing
Ginetta Junior powerhouse R Racing will make their single-seater debut in the Winter Series after plans for a GB4 team announced at the beginning of the year did not previously materialise.
Chase Fernandez (#90) is no stranger to single-seaters, having finished 13th overall in the 2025 British F4 Championship with one win and a further podium. The Mancunian, who turns 18 on Sunday, has taken part in only one round of Mini Challenge this year but now returns for the GB4 Winter Series with his old Ginetta Junior team.
