Artem Petrov has signed with Jenzer Motorsport and will race the 2019 Formula 3 season.

The 19-year old Russian last drove in the Toyota Racing Series this year and scored a win. Before that, in 2018, he completed a full season of the now defunct Formula 3 European Championship. For Van Amersfoort Racing he finished in twentieth position as he gathered seven points with a highest finish of eight.

GP3

Jenzer Motorsport participated in the 2018 season of the now also defunct GP3 series. There it finished fifth in the Team’s Championship.

Ambition

Artem shows a lot of ambition. “I want to compete in Formula 3 because the level of competition is very high”, he states on the championships official website. “It will bring me a lot of experience. Races will be carried out with an absolutely new car for everyone so there is a chance to show a very good result.”
