Having done a couple of races in Italian F4 in 2018, AS Motorsport now joins the series full-time and announced their first driver.

The Slovenian racing team AS Motorsport has been involved in Italian F4 since 2015, doing testing and occasionally a couple of races. Last year they participated in three races with drivers Axel Gnos and Jesse Salmenautio.

In the 2019 they will finally drive a full F4-campaign. The team has also confirmed 17-year old Sebastian Freymuth as their first driver. The German tested with the team last week.

Team Principal Andrej Slak still has doubts on a second car: “We are evaluating possibilities for the second car, but not necessarily will we participate with both cars to the entire championship.”
