Nobuharu Matsushita topped the testing session of the Euroformula Open Winter Series. Earlier today he was confirmed to take part in the series.

Ten cars take part in the Euroformula Open Winter series this weekend. Of the drivers, Nobuharu Matsushita is the most experienced, and that showed. He took first and number two Lukas Dunner was more than a second behind.

Formula 2

The Japanese 25-year old Carlin driver raced in Super Formula last year placing in seventh in the driver standings with a highest finish of fourth at Motegi. He also has three years of GP2 / F2 experience, winning four races in the process. This year he will return to F2 again with Carlin.

Other drivers

Other drivers taking part in the Winter Series at Paul Ricard are Teppei Natori, Nicolai Kjaergaard, freshly announced Billy Monger, Linus Lundqvist, new Campos Racing F3 driver Alessio Deledda, Theo Martin Motorsport’s signing Guilherme Samaia, Aldo Festante, Lukas Dunner and Carlin-signing Christian Hahn.
