Benjamin Pedersen moves abroad and leaves the Formula 4 United States Championship as he signs for a year of BRDC British F3 with Douglas Motorsport.
The Danish American is only 19-years old but already has quite some experience in singel seater racing. He has doen three years of F4 US with 2017 being his best year as he finished 4th in the championship and winning three races in the proces. Last year he scored more point, but finished one position lower, in 5th.
Podiums
Last year Pedersen also drove a couple of races in the F3 Americas Championship. In the 11 races he did, he scored a whopping 10 podiums, although he failed to win a race.
Europe
He is happy with his step to BRDC British F3: “Europe was always going to be the next step and Britain has always had the strongest competition, so I’m looking forward to getting out there competing for the championship.”
Adapt
Team Principal Wayne Douglas is convinced of the Danish American’s skills: “He’s got plenty of experience already in single-seaters and showed last year that he can adapt quickly to F3 machinery.”
