Daruvala McLaren Buxton 2022 f1 Feeder Series Podcast

Jehan Daruvala talks his McLaren F1 test with Will Buxton (podcast)

It was one of the biggest surprises of the year: Formula 2 driver Jehan Daruvala testing an F1 car for the first time in his career, not with Red Bull or Alpha Tauri, but with McLaren. We invited him on the F1 Feeder Series Podcast to talk about it, alongside F1 commentator and presenter Will Buxton. What followed was an hour of conversation about Daruvala’s first ever F1 test, F2 drivers’ options for 2023, Buxton’s GP2 and GP3 stories and what he thinks of negativity on social media.

“It’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a race car.” When talking about his first ever Formula 1 test on the F1 Feeder Series Podcast, Jehan Daruvala did so with a big smile on his face. He also explained how the deal got about and if Red Bull had a say in it.

A man that needs no introductions because he’s been working in and around Formula 1 for quite a while now is Will Buxton. Joining the conversation, he talks about his old days commentating and working in GP2 and GP3 and discusses the option on the 2023 and 2024 F1 grids.
